Results of Educational Programmes

As a result of MSS’s work, the organization has observed a marked change in communities’ behavior, elders are gentler with children, quality of teaching has improved in schools, school enrollment has increased as the learning environment has become more stable, and child labor is tracked. More importantly, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) are taking full responsibility for their own development and solving their own problems, such as filling a vacant teachers post and upgrading the school building.

• Elders in the families started behaving gently with children.
• School teacher’s behaviour changed drastically and quality of teaching is improved.
• Children’s horizons have broadened, they are regularly attending ‘Bal Library’ where they enjoy and acquire knowledge.
• School environment became children’s friendly and now number of enrolment and stability of students is increased.
• Regular tracking to control child labour.
• Community is now more aware and taking responsibility.
• Youth Mandal, Village Development Committee, Jagruk Manch and Manav Vikas Manch taking initiative to resolve school related problem like meeting with Block Development Officer for posting of teachers on vacant post, school land identification and up-gradation of school.
