Mahan Seva Sansthan supports community organizations to enable learning and awareness by sharing each other’s experience.

Adolescent Groups
MSS supported adolescents groups to enable learning through each other’s experience. Adolescents group’s members are regularly attending the meetings both in the presence and in absence of the VHC members. Gradually they are overcoming from their hesitations, coming out from home and discussing various aspects of life skill education including information on HIV/AIDS, importance of cleanliness and hygiene, nutrition, sexuality, social evils such as child labour, child marriage etc.

Village Health and Education Committee (VHEC)
Village Health and Education committees were formed at village level to resolve Education and Health related problem. The committee constitutes members from PRI, Anganwadi, women representatives of SHGs, Jagruk Manch, MVM and VDC.

Dai Morcha
Traditional Birth Attendants (TBA) are commonly known as “Dais” are playing vital role in deliveries as adequate health facilities are not available in remote areas. They usually do not get enough acceptance, dignity, respect and monitory benefits for their services. In order to protect their rights and to uplift their socio-economic conditions Mahan Seva Sansthan has motivated the Dais to form their organization, viz. “Dai Morcha”.

MSS supports regular meetings and training programmes to make the Dais aware of their rights and to improve their skill. Apart from that MSS has been linked the TBAs to institutional health care.
