Mukti Ashram (Deliverance Abode)
It stands to be another innovative concept initiated by Mahan Seva Sansthan. The idea behind starting this centre in such a remote village was to provide an opportunity and facility for the people in this village to update their knowledge, improve their skills and reinforce their confidence and esteem so that they may take active part in the development interventions.
Under this concept MSS runs a training cum information centre popularly known as ‘Mukti Ashram’ at Manpur, a village situated about 14 km away from Kolyari.

Mukti Ashram has all the necessary infrastructure for carrying out training programmes. It has a well furnished training hall, boarding facilities and informative demonstrations on watershed management structure.
Mahan Seva Sansthan has also developed a live organic nutrient demonstration farm here to promote organic farming. Other NGOs too have utilized the centre to conduct their training programmes.

Cultivation of Medicinal Plants
With the support of local community, Mahan Seva Sansthan has developed herbal orchards, known as “Dharm Bagichi” in the project villages. These orchards contain rare and endangered species of medicinal plants.
