Cooperative Society

Mahan Seva Sansthan promotes monthly meeting of the cooperative members. They  discuss about reviewing of work after Tendu leaf collection tender of palm leaf storage of MFP.

Tribal people traditionally have a symbiotic relationship with a large number of common property resources, forests and pastures. However, when access to such resources is controlled with the hope of regenerating them through a natural process for the betterment of the community as a whole, the tribal people lose interest in such interventions. Mahan Seva Sansthan helps in mobilizing community for implementation of the Forest Rights Act. By consolidating movement against forced evictions and atrocities from forest department authorities, organizing meetings with the community people and submitting application to Patwari we capacitate them.
