Voter Awareness Campaign (Panchayat Election)

The general masses of our country are right holders and the government are the duty bearers. Non government organizational members like us are catalyst, our main duty is to connect the people to main stream development. Thus the Mahan Seva Sansthan have started the awareness program through some recreational activities to achieve the “Right based Approach”.

The Panchayati Raj election is a vital way of electing the leaders from our villages, but because of corruption and unfaithfulness, its not helping much. As a rural developmental organization MSS is adhering to ways to overcome this problem. Right to choose or leaders justifies the role of a responsible citizen.

Mahan Seva Sansthan is trying to convey the message to local communities about the role and responsibility of the Panchayat vote.
The voter awareness programme leads to an increase in the number of the voters in comparison of the previous election, in last polling, voting percentage was 77% which was increased to a good 95%. The change is apparent and now people are aware about their voting rights. MSS endeavour to continue these voter awareness campaigns with the help of children participation. It was highly appreciated in various villages and by authorities.
